Collier County Medical Society (CCMS), the local professional association for physicians, is pleased to recognize local physician leaders at its 2025 Annual Meeting & Installation Dinner, June 14th at Arthrex One Conference Center.

The evening features a cocktail reception and dinner program with the inauguration of the 68th CCMS President, Dr. Jose Baez and new CCMS officers; the presentation of the 2025 Physician of the Year Award to Dr. Rolando Rivera; and the CCMS Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Robert Tober. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased online.

Dr. Baez, incoming 2025-2026 CCMS President, is a board-certified internist with a private practice in North Naples. He attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center. Dr. Baez has served on numerous hospital committees and medical association boards. He is the chair of the CCMS Membership Committee and serves as a county delegate to the Florida Medical Association.

Dr. Rivera, CCMS Physician of the Year, is a board-certified urologist with over 20 years’ experience in both male and female urologic care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, followed by residency at the University of Florida, and fellowship training in Female Urology, Pelvic Surgery, and Urodynamics at the University of Miami. Dr. Rivera is founder and Board Chair of the Foundation of CCMS, a past president of CCMS, the NCH Section Chief of Urology, and Market President for Advanced Urology Institute of Southwest Florida.

Dr. Tober, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, began his career at Naples Community Hospital in 1978 and cared for thousands of emergency medical patients during his two-decade tenure there, eventually serving as Chair of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Tober is the founder of Collier County Emergency Medical Services and laid the groundwork for what is now one of the most respected EMS programs in the region, with groundbreaking initiatives that have received worldwide attention.

Tickets to the dinner are complimentary for CCMS physician members. The first CCMS member guest is $25 and additional seats are $125 each. The event is sponsored in part by Arthrex, Apex Brain & Spine, Millennium Physician Group, and Vascular Center of Naples/Naples Prostate Center.
