Collier County Medical Society (CCMS) is pleased to announce its inaugural Men’s Health Forum, which will be held on Saturday, October 19, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Telford Building Auditorium at Naples Comprehensive Healthcare (NCH) Downtown.

The CCMS Women’s Health Forum has been a popular community event for over 15 years, prompting the Medical Society to launch this “trial run” program for men’s health. This event is free and open to all patients in Southwest Florida who would like to attend. It features educational presentations from local physicians and light refreshments.

Presentations will include cardiology topics such as Preventive Cardiology, Advances in Valvular Heart Disease, and Management of Atrial Fibrillation. Additional topics will include Dementia Screening and Treatment, Fatty Liver Disease, Male Hormone Replacement, Metabolic Syndrome, Prostate Cancer Screening and Treatment, and Sleep Apnea.

“This is our first attempt at a men’s program, and we will be gauging interest from the community,” commented Dr. Gary Swain, event chair. “We hope it will generate interest in both our patients and our physicians, to become a regular event in the future.”

Attendees should register online at ccmsonline.org/events. The Men’s Health Forum is made possible with the support of presenting sponsor NCH.
