The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society hosts their 12th Annual “Docs & Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Bonita Bay Club East in Naples on September 27, 8:00am. Just a few foursomes remain for the shotgun/scramble, which includes breakfast, an enjoyable day of golf, hosted on-course beverages, goodie bag, and awards luncheon. Sponsorships and a variety of underwriting opportunities are still available.
The event is open to the public and rates are $195 per golfer or $760 per foursome. Sponsorships start at $550. The Foundation is also seeking prize donations and event volunteers. Interested golfers, sponsors, supporters, donors, and volunteers can visit ccmsfoundation.org/#golf for details, call (239) 435-7727, or email CCMS.
Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and funding for local healthcare programs in need. The Foundation, a 501c3, awarded $37,500 this year alone to six talented recipients. Visit ccmsfoundation.org for more information on scholarship award winners.
“At Docs & Duffers our fundraising efforts go beyond the game—they provide opportunities for aspiring medical professionals and advance healthcare in our community,” Dr. Rolando Rivera, board chair of the Foundation. “I am continually inspired by the generosity of our supporters, whose contributions help ensure the availability of quality healthcare in Southwest Florida for years to come.”
Docs & Duffers is supported in part by Ace Sponsor EisnerAmper, Hole-in-One Contest Sponsor Porsche Naples, and Eagle Sponsor Advanced Urology Institute.
