The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society hosts their 11th Annual “Docs & Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Bonita Bay Club on October 5th. Tee-off is at 12:00pm, and includes an enjoyable day of golf, hosted refreshments, prizes, and an awards after-party. After-party tickets for non-golfers are also available. This tournament, which brings together healthcare professionals and golf enthusiasts, helps make a meaningful impact on the future of medicine.

The event is open to the public and rates are $195 per golfer or $760 per foursome. Sponsorships and a variety of underwriting opportunities are still available. The Foundation is also seeking prize donations and event volunteers. Interested golfers, sponsors, supporters, donors, and volunteers can visit ccmsfoundation.org/#golf for details, call (239) 435-7727, or email CCMS at info@ccmsonline.org.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and funding for local healthcare programs in need. The Foundation, a 501c3, awarded $37,500 this year alone to six talented recipients. Visit ccmsfoundation.org for more information on scholarship award winners.

“At Docs & Duffers, our premier fundraising event, participants contribute to a collective mission to shape the future of medicine,” said Dr. Rolando Rivera, board chair of the Foundation. “This tournament not only provides key financial aid to aspiring medical professionals, but also supports the advancement of healthcare in our community.”

Docs & Duffers is supported in part by Eagle Sponsors Advanced Urology Institute and CARE Risk Retention Group.
