The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society hosts their 10th Anniversary “Docs & Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Kensington Golf & Country Club on September 30th. Tee-off is at 8:30am, and includes an enjoyable day of golf, hosted refreshments, prizes, and an awards luncheon. This tournament, which brings together healthcare professionals and golf enthusiasts, helps make a meaningful impact on the future of medicine.

The event is open to the public and rates are $195 per golfer or $750 per foursome. Remaining sponsorships available include the Ace Sponsor at $2,500 and a variety of underwriting opportunities. The Foundation is also seeking prize donations and event volunteers. Interested golfers, sponsors, supporters, donors, and volunteers can visit ccmsfoundation.org/#golf for details, call (239) 435-7727, or email CCMS at info@ccmsonline.org.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and funding for local healthcare programs in need. The Foundation, a 501c3, awarded $24,500 last year alone to five talented recipients. Visit ccmsfoundation.org for more information on scholarship award winners.

“These scholarships nurture the next generation of physicians, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities they need to excel in their studies and pursue their dreams of serving patients,” said Dr. Rolando Rivera, board chair of the Foundation. “At Docs & Duffers, our signature fundraiser, participants become part of a collective effort to shape the future of healthcare. This tournament not only provides essential financial aid to these aspiring medical professionals, but also supports quality healthcare in our community.”

Docs & Duffers is supported in part by Presenting Sponsor, Naples Heart Rhythm Specialists.
