Collier County Medical Society (CCMS) is pleased to announce that Glenn Groat, MD, will be installed as the 69th President of the CCMS Board of Directors during the CCMS Annual Meeting & Installation on June 20 at Arthrex One Conference Center. Current CCMS President Dr. Jose Baez will pass the gavel to Dr. Groat for his one-year term leading the 800+ physician-member organization.

Florida Medical Association Immediate Past President Lisa Cosgrove, MD, will administer the oath of office, and current American Medical Association President Bobby Mukkamala, MD, will provide special remarks. Over 200 guests are expected to attend.

Dr. Groat currently serves as Assistant Managing Partner at Radiology Regional. He has served on the CCMS Board of Directors since 2021 and is also a board member of the Foundation of CCMS, a member of the CCMS Programs Committee, and a CCMS delegate to the Florida Medical Association.

He earned undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He completed his internship at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital, his radiology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University, and a fellowship in Body Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Groat is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology.
