Donate to the Foundation
Join us in supporting the Foundation of CCMS and quality healthcare in our community. Your donations will help us provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare, support for health education programs, and funding for local healthcare programs in need.

Scholarship Program
Foundation of CCMS offers two scholarship categories, The Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students, recognizing future physicians who demonstrate excellence in community service; and Foundation Healthcare Scholarships, for students enrolled or accepted into healthcare degree programs, awards based on need and academic performance. The Foundation awarded 7 scholarships in 2023, for a total of $34,000.
Florida residents who meet eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply each spring. Applications for the coming year are posted on this page during December/January and are due March 31st. Here are the 2024 applications:

Charity Golf Tournament
Join us as a golfer, sponsor, prize donor, raffle entrant, or volunteer at our 11th Annual Docs & Duffers, October 5, 2024, at Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs. Foundation of CCMS Invites “Docs & Duffers” to Golf
Registration is open for the 9th Annual “Docs & Duffers” charity golf tournament and raffle at Bonita Bay Club Naples on September 24th. Tee-off is at 8:45am, and includes an enjoyable day of golf, hosted refreshments, prizes, and an awards luncheon. Open to the public.
Foundation of CCMS Announces 2022 Dr. Lascheid Memorial Scholarship Winner
Yordan Urrutia, graduate of Lorenzo Walker Technical High School in Naples in the class of 2024 at Florida State University College of Medicine, is the winner of the Foundation’s 2022 Dr. William Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students.
