Join us in supporting the Foundation of CCMS and quality healthcare in our community. Your donations will help us provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare, support for health education programs, and funding for local healthcare programs in need.

Scholarship Program
Foundation of CCMS offers two scholarship categories, The Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students, recognizing future physicians who demonstrate excellence in community service; and Foundation Healthcare Scholarships, for students enrolled or accepted into healthcare degree programs, awards based on need and academic performance. The Foundation awarded 6 scholarships in 2024, for a total of $37,500.
Florida residents who meet eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply each spring. Applications for the coming year are posted on this page during December/January and are due March 31st. Here are the 2025 applications:

Registration is now closed for our Virtual Wine Pull Fundraiser. This regular event, open to the public, raises money for scholarships to future medical professionals and support for local healthcare programs in need. Foundation of CCMS 2024 Healthcare Scholarship Winners
Healthcare students Julianna Gregory, Sophie Tillotson, Mildred Hinojosa, Reese Davids, and Emma Mastro each will receive a scholarship ranging from $2,500 to $6,500.
Foundation Announces Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship Recipient
The Foundation of CCMS is thrilled to announce that Mariela Vega, an Immokalee H.S. graduate in the class of 2027 at Florida State Univ. College of Medicine, is the recipient of the 2024 Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students.
